A Christmas Eve 25-Word Story

It's Christmas Eve, and we have the perfect card for the occasion, but we need YOU!

There are so many good Christmas Movies out there (my own favorites being Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story and Home Alone), but I think we can make the next great Christmas movie.

This isn't going to be easy though, we're limited to just 25 Words. :)

Let's make a 25-Word Story based off of the 3 of Diamonds.

Add your story to the comments below!

If you've never made a 25-Word Story, they are a lot of fun. Here are Gaetan Pappalardo's rules from our downloadable Storyteller Manual:

25 Word-Stories
by Gaetan Pappalardo

Choose a Storyteller Card and write a mini story that is exactly 25 words long.

Tips/Notes
  • For younger players or beginners try to use a maximum of 20-25 words instead of the exact count.
  • Try to squeeze a problem into the mini story.
  • A great way to create quick writing ideas for longer stories.
  • Exercises the mind's eye to produce creative scenes from different perspectives.
  • Helps beginning writers to formulate story elements on the spot.
Try it yourself!

Resuming shipping this week!

Hey everyone! Just a quick update to let you know that USPCC told me the replacement card and bonus card are shipping out today. This means I will have them within the next 2-3 days and can resume shipping!

It took a little longer than I hoped, especially with the Thanksgiving holiday in there, but we're back on track. Shipments may be going out as early as Thursday, which is very exciting.

Once again, I'd like to apologize for this snag that we had. I'm glad it's almost behind us now.

And since you'll be getting the decks in soon enough, I wanted to share the Storyteller Manual pdf.

Here's the link: http://buttonshy.com/storytellercards/manual120213.pdf

And once you get your cards, please share your creations with us atStorytellerCards.com and on twitter @StorytellerCard.

Thanks again for all of your patience!
